Vida M. Vaughn has a Master's in Information and Library Science (MLIS), a Manster's in Business Administration (MBA) an advanced certification in Clinical/Health Science Librarianship (CASHIL). She serves as Director of University of Louisville's (UofL) Kornhauser Health Sciences LIbrary (KHSL). Ms. Vaughn oversees all library operations, including the clinical librarian program that facilitates the embedded services of six full-time professionals for UofL associaated medical departments and the University of Louisville Hospital. She serves on the University of Louisville Institutional Review Board (IRB) and works closely with the administration, faculty and students of the School of Dentistry, School of Medicine, School of Inforamtion & Public Health, and School of Nursing. She feels honored to have played an influencial role in the developement of a new Grand Rounds curriculum for the School of Dentistry. Before transitionaing into academia, Ms. Vaughn was a public library director.
