How to Use the Online Planner
- Search or browse for conference programs using the options in the left navigation or using a tile on the home page.
- Review descriptions and view presenters by clicking on program titles.
- Click the "star" to add items to your personal itinerary. To remove an item from your itinerary, click the star again. Live sessions will be recorded and available later.
- Access your personal itinerary at any time by selecting 'My Experience' at left. This new page offers multiple means to access your favorited content, other attendees, the questions you ask, and to test your system for access to various features.
- Creating a personal itinerary helps you plan your time between meeting presentations and work obligations. It does not register you for the meeting or guarantee a seat at sessions.
View On-Demand Presentations - and Interact with Q&A and Video Chat
- View on-demand slides, or slides+integrated audio begining Monday, May 10. Ask questions of presenters via the text Q&A chat feature.
- See a question from another attendee that is like yours? Don't ask again -- vote the question "up" to reflect it is important to you!
- Between May 24-27, papers and lightning talks will have scheduled video chat sessions open, where you can interact directly with presenters. Chat sessions will open on the days/times they are available and when presenters are available. Video chat sessions are NOT recorded.
- View this video on how to use the video chats in this website.

Use Universal Search
To do a site-wide search or to find ALL the authors of papers and posters, use the "universal search" in the upper blue bar next to your name or Login prompt. For example, the search feature for poster presenters is currently only a simple filter tool that pulls poster submitter/primary author.

Is there an App?
- Given the limited use of the MLA '21 App during the vConference in 2020, we do not have a separate MLA '21 App.
- However, you can access live streams (Plenary sessions), video chat, and MLA '21 Quest features using the eventScribe Live app.
- Most live presentation links (live exhibitor solution showcases and live immersion sessions) will redirect you to your mobile web browser or to a Zoom app on your device.
