Sachinthani I. Karunarathne

School of Ecosystem and Forest Sciences, Faculty of Science, The University of Melbourne

Ms. Sachinthani studied Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and graduated as a BSc (Honors) student in 2016. She then served at the University of Peradeniya as Academic Staff member until she joined Forest Molecular Biology and Genetics group of Prof. Bossinger at the University of Melbourne. She is currently a PhD candidate supervised by Prof. Gerd Bossinger, Dr. Antanas Spokevicius and Dr., John Golz at the Faculty of Science, University of Melbourne. During this short period since the beginning of her scientific research career, she has already published 13 research articles in SCI(E) journals.
