Dr. Farid is an Assistant Professor of Wildlife Ecology and Coordinator of Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Program at Tuskegee University. She received her Ph.D. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from University of Florida in 2019 and joined the Tuskegee faculty in the same year. She is also an McKnight Doctoral Fellow and EGA Environmental Fellow 2018 Alumni. Her research lab broadly covers topics of population ecology, environmental justice, and ecosystem resiliency.
