Steve is a presently an Associate Professor (Research) at Southern Cross University (Australia) with a broad bank of experience in marine science across industry, government and academia. Questions centred on how sessile invertebrates maintain their populations underpins his interest. His current focus of research continues to build on past efforts of unravelling larval choice behaviours in sponges, as part of the Diverse Intelligences Initiative of the Templeton World Charity Foundation.
