Integrative Biology, University of Colorado Denver
I am currently pursuing a masters degree in the Integrative Biology program at University of Colorado in Denver. I am a member of the Tomback Forest Ecology lab and I focus on the Clark's nutcracker-whitebark pine mutualism for my thesis research. My research interests include the collection and analysis of avian count data, understanding latent factors in the data generation process and investigating the relationships of species abundance with forest habitat characteristics. Before returning to school at UC Denver, I spent several years working with the national park service in the Intermountain region. I have been lucky enough to work in parks including Saguaro, Grand Teton, Great Sand Dunes, and Yellowstone. Working in these amazing locations has driven my passion for ecological research and returning to pursue a graduate degree.
