Ultimately, soft-tissue enhancement or phenotype conversion is necessary for the management of hard- and soft-tissue defects around teeth and implants. Incorporating literature-based periodontal plastic surgery procedures and the innovation of the surgeon, procedures can be performed to achieve an esthetic and stable outcome.
