Sharon has practiced servant-leadership for over 30 years - by serving others, building communities, and bringing people together. As Council Member At-Large for Metropolitan Nashville Davidson County, Sharon represents all of Nashville. For the past 22 years, Sharon has served as president/CEO of Jefferson Street United Merchants Partnership (J.U.M.P.) through advocacy, community, economic, and workforce development that respects its culture and heritage - while growing and improving its imprint on the community. Additionally, Sharon has served as executive director for StreetWorks, a non-profit focused on reducing the stigma and increasing prevention methods for those affected by HIV and AIDS.
