Yiwei Huang is an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture at Purdue University. She received her Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, her Master of Urban Design at the University of Michigan, and her Ph.D. in Geography at the University of California Davis. Yiwei is inspired by feminist and critical geography theories. She is always interested in understanding and exploring the broader societal impacts of landscape architecture and urban design projects, especially to the underrepresented communities in cities.
She was the CELA Student Director (2018-2020). And she is currently serving on two leadership committees in ASLA (2020-2022).
