Michele Flournoy is an Urban Designer with the City of Detroit Planning & Development Department. She has 10 years professional experience in architecture and community development. Prior to joining the City of Detroit in 2016, Michele worked as an architect in New York City focused on public and institutional projects. At the J. Max Bond Center on Design for the Just City, research and publication of "Mapping Legacy Cities", began her connection to Detroit and how thoughtful design can positively impact urban communities. She holds an MArch from The City College of New York and Bachelors from New York University.
