Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture

Gabriel is an associate professor of landscape architecture at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. Gabriel’s studio teaching is focused on service-learning projects developing studies for public urban planning agencies and other local institutions. Gabriel keeps a part-time practice in Mexico as founding partner of LABor Studio, based in Chihuahua City. Gabriel's current research projects include investigations for regenerative and polyvalent urban (infra)structures in the US-Mexico border region cities, the vulnerable and essential communities and landscapes of NW Arkansas and its region, and teaching and investigating Landscape Architecture in Latin America. Gabriel is a two-time Diversity Summit participant of the ASLA.
