David F. Milligan, FASLA, LEED®AP ID+C, IFMA FMP, having 35-years professional experience covering the planning, design, development, renovation, management and operations of public facilities, has addressed implementation of ADA accessibility standards from multiple perspectives. He specializes in the assessment of physical barriers and their removal in outdoor facilities. His direct involvement in facilities design, operations and maintenance has provided a unique opportunity to assess, implement and manage compliance with ADA standards at all levels. Since 2009 he has co-authored and taught classroom courses and field sensitivity tours on ADA accessibility standards specifically aimed at landscape architects and the outdoor environment.
