Sarah leads the Wastewater Enterprise’s Utility Planning Division at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. Her team integrates green infrastructure into San Francisco’s urban watersheds and increases flood resilience through planning, program development, regulation, capital projects, and strategic partnerships. Sarah and her team led the development and implementation of San Francisco’s Stormwater Management Ordinance, Urban Watershed Stewardship Grant Program, Green Infrastructure Grant Program, Green Infrasturcture Maintenance Program, and Rainwater Harvesting Program. Sarah holds a bachelor of science from Stanford University and two masters degrees from UC Berkeley in City and Regional Planning and Environmental Planning.
