Tyler Nishitani, NOMA, AIA, is a project architect and associate at Hacker, the Architect of Record and Project Manager behind the Portland Japanese Garden's Cultural Crossing Project. Tyler has dedicated his 11-year career to civic and cultural architecture – to design that centers people and communities, and to creating buildings that are a resource to those they serve. He has worked with clients across the West in Oregon, California, Alaska, and Texas on a variety of libraries, museums, and discovery centers, and higher education projects. Tyler is currently the Project Architect for a 35,000 sf municipal library in Logan Utah.
