Genevieve M. D'Souza, M.S., is a PhD Candidate in Dr. Luis Tedeschi's Ruminant Nutrition Lab. Genevieve's research is focused around identifying sustainable alternatives to antimicrobials in beef productions. Her interests include rumen microbiology, direct-fed microbials, the impact of antimicrobial usage on antimicrobial resistance, bacteriophages, and ruminant production. Genevieve is currently completing a research internship with Cactus Feeders and will be particpiating as a Graduate Student Scholar with Elanco Animal Health over the next academic year. Genevieve is anticipating graduation in May 2022.
