Colorado State Univeristy
My name is Nico Graham Menjivar, I am a PhD student in the department of Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University under the advisement of Dr. Dawit Tesfaye. I completed my undergraduate studies in the department of Animal Sciences in 2019, prior to completing my master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with a Specialization in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) in 2020 at the Animal Reproduction and Biotechnology Laboratory (ARBL). My current research is focused on understanding the role of extracellular vesicles and their molecular cargos in regulating various reproductive functions in cattle with potential translation to humans. Also, I am interested in investigating the impact of modulating oxidative stress response on survival and viability during oocyte/embryo development.
