I earned his PhD degree in Animal Nutrition from the University of Alberta, Canada. After that, I conducted my postdoctoral research in Iowa State University and the University of Kentucky. In 2011, I undertook an Assistant Professor position in Swine Nutrition at Alcorn State University. Currently I serves as an Associate Professor in Non-Ruminant Nutrition in the Department of Animal and Dairy Sciences, Mississippi State University. My academic responsibilities include 50% teaching and 50% research. For teaching, I am responsible for instructing Swine Science and Animal Nutrition. For research, my major interest is to understand how dietary nutrients work in concert to promote swine gut health, feed efficiency, and muscle growth.
