Singina Galina is a head of laboratory of L.K. Ernst Federal Science Center for Animal Husbandry (Podolsk, Russia).
My current research projects:
1. investigation into the role of endocrine factors in regulation of cytological and molecular mechanisms of aging of mammalian oocytes;
2. the identification of system’s components determined gene editing by combining CRISPR/Cas9 and somatic cell nuclear transfer technologies in domestic cows;
3. characterization of extracellular vesicles (EVs) present in follicular fluid, and to investigate cellular and molecular mechanisms of their effect to oocyte maturation and developmental competence, using both post-mortem oocytes and oocytes recovered in vivo by ovum pick up (OPU).
