WenZhu Yang received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the Shanxi Agriculture University, China, Master of Science in Animal Nutrition, and Ph.D. in Animal Physiology from the University of Blaise Pascal, France. He is Senior Research Scientist working for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada at the Lethbridge Research and Development Centre. He currently leads research that develop feeding strategies for improving feed efficiency and animal health, and develop novel feed additives as rumen modifiers to reduce the use of antibiotics and growth promoters in ruminant. He is the author or co-author of over 180 peer-reviewed research articles. He has given numerous invited presentations at scientific and professional meetings nationally and internationally.
