Dr. Urías was born in Culiacán Sinaloa, México, (33 years old). He made the bachelor degree in Veterinary and Animal Sciences at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa. He completed his master and PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences in 2017 (Ruminant nutrition), at the Autonomous University of Baja California under supervision of Dr. Alejandro Plascencia. During his program, Dr Urías made two academic stays n the Nutrition lab at the University of California, Davis supervised by PhD Richard Avery. He currently works at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics-UAS with the appointment of full-time Researcher-Professor. He is an active member of the National System of Researchers from Mexico (Level 1) and participating as a member of the Consolidated Academic team "Production and quality of livestock products" (UASCA-205)
