Friederike Baumgaertner is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Animal Sciences at North Dakota State University and is advised by Drs. Carl Dahlen, Kevin Sedivec, and Chris Schauer. She grew up in Germany, where she received her B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Göttingen. Her Ph.D. research focuses on the effects of providing energy/protein or mineral supplementation in beef heifers and their offspring.
