Guadalupe Ceja is a first-year master’s student in animal science at Purdue University. She received her BS in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests include looking at dairy calf nutrition and health during times of preweaning stress challenges. Her current research focuses on examining the effects of glutamine supplementation on immune function, intestinal health, and growth performance in heifer calves. In addition to her research, she serves on the graduate-level division of the Diversity Action Team in Agriculture (DATA) committee and serves as secretary for the Latino Graduate Student Organization (LGSO) at Purdue.
