Animal scientist with a Master's degree in Science by Brazilian universities, Ms. Santana currently develops her studies at the University of Connecticut. Projects of interest are related to animal breeding and genetics, have worked with genetic prediction in Nelore bovine, runs of homozygosity, bovine population simulation, the inclusion of causative variants in markers panels, and heat stress in Dairy Cattle.
