Amanda Barney, PhD student, University of Rhode Island
My name is Amanda Barney and I am a PhD student at the University of Rhode Island, where I also received my undergraduate degree in Pre-Veterinary Sciences. I am currently studying maternal programming in dairy cattle, specifically dairy calves with Dr. Maria Hoffman. Although my first passion is for animals, I have a great interest in Neuroscience as well. I am fortunate to be able to combine both passions in my work with dairy cattle and maternal programming. I am excited to explore this field of animal science and to see where our research takes us!
