Zhe Pan, a second-year Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Dr. Leluo Guan at the agricultural, food, and nutritional science department at the University of Alberta, Canada. Research is focused on host-microbiome interactions in response to Shiga toxin-producing E.coli colonization in beef cattle using multi-omics. I also adopted ideas from the machine learning area and utilize these avant-garde approaches to further the understanding of host-microbiome interactions.
