My name is Jake Thorne and I am a PhD student at the University of Idaho. I also work for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in San Angelo, TX. My area of focus is sheep and goat genetic research, including identifiying DNA markers for parasite resistance, reproduction, and health related traits in Rambouillet and Dorper sheep.
