Dr. Jay S. Johnson is a Research Animal Scientist with the USDA-ARS Livestock Behavior Research Unit. His research focus is on nutritional and stress physiology. Areas of research include heat stress physiology, weaning and transport stress, and the development of nutritional and management strategies to mitigate the effects of stress.
