My name is Sanjok Poudel, currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. I did my MS in Animal and Poultry Science from Tuskegee University, Alabama in 2018 and my Bachelors in Agricultural Science from Tribhuvan University, Nepal in 2014. I am broadly interested in understanding soil-plant-animal interactions in forage-livestock production systems, sustainable forage/livestock production, and agroforestry systems. My current research works include but not limited to understanding animal behavior and productivity under different grazing systems such as silvopasture and fescue-based pasture using novel techniques.
