Natural from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Gustavo Mazon is a PhD student at the University of Kentucky under Dr. Joao Costa. His current research focuses on strategic probiotic supplementation in Holstein x Angus calves. In May 2016, Gustavo earned his master's degree from the University of Kentucky focusing on transition cow nutrition. Besides being interested in strategic nutritional interventions, Gustavo is also highly interested in precision dairy technologies and automation.
