Rachel French, BSN, RN is a T32 doctoral research fellow in the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research (CHOPR) at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She is also a community organizer with SOL Collective, a Philadelphia-based harm reduction group. Her research focuses improving care and outcomes for people who use drugs. After obtaining her BSN from Boston College in 2017, she worked as an RN in Boise, ID at a Federally Qualified Health Center that provided primary care and mediation for opioid use disorder to a largely underserved population. She is passionate about her work with individuals affected by substance use and is engaged in research and advocacy to improve care and outcomes for this population.
