Medical Student
Boston University School of Medicine
Nivetha Saravanan is a third-year medical student at Boston University School of Medicine. Nivetha has had a demonstrated interest in addiction medicine from volunteering in needle exchange programs, formerly leading her medical school's outreach van project, and working with Boston Medical Center's Project RESPECT clinic for pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorder (SUD). Through these pursuits, she has become invested in increasing medical trainees' knowledge and skills around the holistic treatment of individuals with SUD. Her non-medical interests include hiking up in the White Mountains, watching Netflix docuseries, and constantly finding new recipes to cook.
