Assistant Professor of Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery

Dr. Scharf is an assistant professor of small animal soft tissue and oncologic surgery at the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She received a BS in earth systems from Stanford University and a DVM from Texas A&M University prior to completing a rotating internship at The Ohio State University and a surgical residency and MS at the University of Florida. Her research interests include minimally invasive surgery, surgical oncology, and endocrine neoplasia, as well as the role of companion animals as models of environmental exposure.
