Patellar luxation is a common condition, and there is an “art” to surgical correction. This seminar covers patient assessment, technique selection (what to do and when to do it), and surgical tips to help attendees maximize patient outcomes and minimize frustrations. Specific topics include the importance of tibial tuberosity transposition for clinical success, the pros and cons of commonly performed sulcoplasty techniques, and how to address tibial rotation.
