FHO is a commonly performed surgery for hip disease; however, the outcomes can be variable. This seminar provides preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative tips to help maximize patient outcomes. Topics covered include case selection, common complications and how to avoid them, surgical tips, and aftercare. Managing client expectations and the importance of client engagement in postoperative rehabilitation for optimal outcomes re also discussed.
