This lecture will focus on placement of the subcutaneous ureteral bypass (SUB) device in cats and dogs for ureteral obstructions due to stones, strictures, and tumors. Detailed instruction with images and videos will be presented to help attendees avoid some of the more common mistakes made during SUB placement. Additionally, time will be spent discussing how to trouble-shoot obstructed SUBs.
