Dr. R. Ryan Dupont is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Utah State University. He eceived his PhD from the University of Kansas in Environmental Health Engineering in 1982, the year he started as a faculty member at Utah State University and Research Associate at the Utah Water Research Laboratory in Logan Utah. Over his 30 year career he has conducted applied research in the soil and groundwater remediation area, focusing on biological process monitoring, field system evaluation, and performance monitoring. He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Solid and Hazardous Waste Management, Wastewater Engineering, Pollution Prevention, and Human Health and Hazard Risk Management, and has recently been exploring applications of statistical methods to hazard, risk, and reliability analysis.
