Arman Peyravi is a Ph.D. student in Environmental Engineering at the University of Alberta with more than 7 years of experience in air pollution control engineering including filtration, adsorption, absorption, pollutant sensing, air dispersion modeling, and pollutant source apportionment. His most recent research project focused on the performance of homemade masks against the spread of COVID-19 based on the ASTM F2299 and EN 14683. He is a certified filtration and separation specialist and has served on the executive committees of FEGRS, ASHRAE, and AWMA student chapter at the University of Alberta from 2017 to 2021.
