Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering in the Graduate Studies Division of the Faculty of Engineering (DEPFI), U.N.A.M. (1984-1986). Graduated in 1991. Thesis: "Evaluation of Air Quality in the Interior of a Building in the Metropolitan Area of Mexico City".
Doctorate in Environmental Engineering from the DEPFI, graduated in 2001. Thesis: "Evaluation and Control of Benzene in the Atmosphere of the Z.M.C.M."
Member of the academic research staff of the Environmental Pollution Section of the Center for Atmospheric Sciences of the U.N.A.M. since 1986, being currently definitive "A" Principal Investigator.
Since 1988 assistant professor and since 1991 professor of "Sampling and analysis of the air" of the Master of Environmental Engineering of the UNAM.
Tutor of the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Engineering of the UNAM.
Chairman of the Mexico Chapter of the "Air and Waste Management Association" (1991-1993).
Qualified Expert in "Environmental Protection" by the National College of Chemical and Chemical Engineers A.C., since 1995.
International Consultant for the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Environment of Bolivia (ETAP-World Bank project) in the realization of the "Regulation on air pollution". 1994
Member of the "Expert Advisory Panel on Continental Pollutant Pathways", of the "Commission for Environmental Cooperation.1997.
Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) by the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice (IPEP), since 2010.
