Howard J. Feldman is the Senior Counselor of Policy, Economics & Regulatory Affairs at the American Petroleum Institute in Washington D.C., where he’s been for more than 30 years. At API, Howard guides environmental, climate, environmental justice, and other policy issues. He and his team seek out and develop the science- and experience-based information needed to underpin API’s advocacy and they work closely to advise elected and appointed officials and their staffs. On behalf of API, Howard is a frequent commenter on EPA proposed rules and policies and he has served on many governmental and private sector panels. Howard has a Master of Science from Harvard School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.
