Patricia (Blair) Saint-Vincent, PhD is a research scientist with the Leidos Research Support Team at the National Energy Technology Laboratory in Pittsbugh, Pennsylvania. She completed her PhD in chemistry at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where she studied microbial small molecule biosynthesis and bioactivity. She initiated a small molecule discovery program with the Plant-Microbe Interfaces team in the Biosciences Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She then joined the Geosciences Division of the National Energy Technology Laboratory, where she supports multiple research projects, including ambient air monitoring for greenhouse gas emissions, abandoned well emissions and remediation, and rare earth element extraction and characterization. While not studying science, Patricia enjoys reading, backpacking and hiking, running, and volunteering with children in her local community.
