Dr. Tracey Holloway is the 2017-2021 Gaylord Nelson Distinguished Professor at the University of Wisconsin—Madison, jointly appointed in the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies and the Department of Atmospheric and Ocean Sciences. Holloway is the two-time Team Lead for the NASA Health and Air Quality Applied Sciences Team, connecting NASA data with stakeholder interests in air quality management and public health. In 2020, Holloway was honored with the Ascent Award for mid-career atmospheric scientists from the American Geophysical Union, with past recognition including the MIT C3E Award in Education and Mentoring, an invited AAAS Leshner Leadership Fellow, a TEDx speaker, and multiple UW-Madison awards for teaching and mentoring. Holloway holds an Sc.B. with honors in Applied Mathematics from Brown University, and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from Princeton University.
