Robert Mentzer has over 25 years of experience in airport environmental noise analysis with HMMH. Robert has been the project manager or lead technical analyst in the preparation of noise contours for over 60 airports, including noise elements of Part 150 Land Use Compatibility Planning Studies, Part 161 Noise and Access Restriction Studies, Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements, Airport Master Plan Studies, and other studies concerning airport noise. He recently completed the Noise Exposure Map Update at Nashville International Airport and is currently managing Part 150 and NEPA studies at several other airports around the country. Robert also actively manages several on-call contracts and projects at several major and GA airports.
He has a long history of working with FAA’s INM and AEDT models and previously participated in the Design Review Group testing both models. He has been a member of AWMA for most of his career.
