Presenting: Amanda Essner has been a consultant at All4 Inc. for 3.5 years, currently as a Consulting Scientist. She has experience in a variety of air quality modeling, ambient and meteorological monitoring, permitting, emissions inventory, and continuous emissions monitoring projects. Amanda received her Master’s degree from Texas A&M University in Atmospheric Sciences and her Bachelor's degree from University of Delaware in Environmental Science.
Presenting: William Roy has been the Manager of Air Quality/Assistant Environmental Compliance Officer for United Refining Company located in Warren, Pa in the Environmental Department for over 17 years. His current responsibilities include all project permitting for the facility, Title V compliance monitoring, day to day compliance of the refinery facility, a portion of the RMP, emission inventory reporting, release response and reporting and tank air compliance. Additionally responsibilities include overseeing required performance test, CEMS activities and all environmental air compliance for United’s refinery facility. Prior to joining United Refining, he worked for HOVENSA (HESS Oil) and prior to that he designed and sold industrial pump and tank system for a distributor. He received his Mechanical Engineering Degree from North Carolina State University.
Not Presenting: Dan Dix, a Technical Manager with All4 Inc, has 14 years of air quality consulting experience focusing on air dispersion modeling and ambient monitoring. Dan has worked with a variety of clients including pulp and paper, refineries, cement, power, lead acid battery manufacturing in multiple states. Many air dispersion modeling studies were part of major New Source Review projects, while others involved air quality modeling for compliance with air toxics regulations or state programs. Dan has directed and conducted air quality modeling studies that involve the U.S. EPA AERMOD model. Dan is experienced in the installation, startup, and operation of meteorological and pollutant ambient monitoring systems.
