Shelby Coleman (Zangari) is a doctoral candidate in the environmental chemistry department at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY. Her dissertation research focuses on air quality in an environmental justice neighborhood. She has a strong interested in public health and has also earned the Certificate of Advanced Study in Public Health from SUNY Upstate Medical University. Shelby has published two manuscripts since she began her graduate study in 2017 (DOI 10.1016/j.scitotenv.2020.140496 and 10.4103/nah.NAH_52_19).
