Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are some of the most commonly prescribed medications in children. This program will explore genetic differences that affect the metabolism of PPIs, the need to dose differently in children based on these differences, and how understanding the safety of PPIs is critical to determining the risk/benefit balance.
