Environmental exposures — including outdoor air pollution, fluorinated “forever” chemicals, and phthalates — can have important impacts on fetal and newborn health, with potentially lasting consequences. Faculty will review principles of environmental health as they apply to these life stages and provide an update on the latest scientific information on prevalent exposures.
