Christian Lawson has lived with Crohn’s disease for more than half his life. As a young Black patient, he has considered how lessons from his journey can inform efforts to improve racial equity within health care. During his presentation, he will address emotional and physical aspects of chronic illness, peer support, and being intentional about addressing disparities.
