Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death in children ages 4 and older, and 80% of car safety seats are used incorrectly. Faculty will review recommendations for selecting and installing an appropriate car seat so attendees can guide their patients. The AAP policy statement on child passenger safety also will be discussed.
