Drinking water purity has been a priority since John Snow removed the Broad Street pump handle, ending the 1854 water-borne cholera epidemic in London. This session will review contaminants, including lead, per-/polyfluoroalkyl substances, and trihalomethanes. Faculty will discuss concerns with municipal water sources, private wells, and bottled, tap, and filtered water. Recommendations will be provided.
