Rady Children’s Institute for Genomic Medicine (RCIGM) is a mission-driven, non-profit research organization embedded within Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.

RCIGM is focused on continuing to advance research and implementation of rapid Whole Genome Sequencing™ (rWGS®) for babies and children in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. Our goal is to deliver fast molecular diagnosese to physicians and providers managing patients with acute, unexplained conditions, to guide personalized healthcare. We decode, analyze, and interpret the causes of rare genetic disorders to enable Rapid Precision Medicine™.

We pioneered a medical revolution to end the diagnostic odyssey for neonatal and pediatric rare disease. Now we’re moving to end the therapeutic odyssey.
